My daughter ran into a hard spot when she tried to do too much and signed up for a summer on-line Spanish course which she couldn't complete that summer. The carry over was that she had to take the course in school this past year which also mean't that she couldn't take her favorite drama course due to scheduling conflicts. In the interim, this past summer, she served the Lord with a 5 week mission trip into Nicaragua - and it's language, Spanish. Alice is the one singing in the upper right with the microphone. She came home and started her Spanish I class. Several weeks later she was moved to Spanish II because she was too advanced. This freed up the spot in her schedule to allow her to get back into her favorite drama class. We often don't trust Him or His plans for us. Why?

"You Gotta Serve Somebody" by Bob Dylan
This song was one of the more important elements in my realization that I needed Christ. Before that decision, for years, at least 40 of them, I used to sit in the dark and listen to this song. I didn't then realize that Dylan had actually recorded three Christian albums in what some called his "Christian phase". And some even claim that Bob is still a Christian, that he simply didn't want to be identified as such and used by a religion, and that he still opens his concerts with a gospel song. Wherever the truth rests, I would like to believe that Bob still needs Jesus as much as I do.
